The insurance must cover at least 30 000 Euro or 1 500 000 Baht and
include costs for medical treatment, hospitalization and repatriation
due to injury or medical resons. The insurance must be vaild in all
Schengen states and cover the total length of stay. The reimbursement

Switzerland and Lichtenstein.
The insurance certificate must be shown when the application is
submitted. The Embassy recommend that you buy an insurance that can be

Visa recommendations
After careful selection and consideration, we have
chosen as our general policy to recommend visa applicants a medical
travel insurance from the insurance company IAG Insurance (Thailand)
Ltd. This insurance policy meets all requirements set by the new
regulations. (More details under Policy & Fees - Bronze)
In addition to the medical part, it is generally recommended to take a
travel visa which also covers your baggage and belongings (incl.
passport and money) in case of loss or theft, travel delays etc. (More
details under Policy & Fees - Deluxe)
Our associate Khun Pranee Sjobeck has full Thai Insurance Brokerage
Licence (#183/2543 - see Company
Info for full details). Thai laws only permit issuance of
insurances to applicants in person, thus not by telephone or other
means of communication.
